Closer

Simple conversation-starter questions for you and your child

Age: 3+
Goal: building positive relationships with a child

Closer isn't really a game to hand to your child - it's a deck of simple, thoughtful questions for the two of you to go through together: things like what made them laugh today, what they'd do if they could fly, or what they're a little scared of.

Most kids apps are designed to hold a child's attention by themselves. This one is the opposite: it's a prompt for a conversation between a parent and a child, meant to be used for a few minutes at dinner, before bed, or on a car ride - the app opens the conversation, then you both put the phone down.

What's inside

A growing deck of simple, age-appropriate conversation questions

Designed to be used together, not as solo screen time

No score, ads mid-conversation, or pressure to keep playing

Good for daily routines: dinner, bedtime, car rides

Questions parents ask

Is this an app for kids to use alone?

No - it works best as a shared activity between a parent (or grandparent, teacher, etc.) and a child, with the app just supplying the question.

What age is it good for?

From around age three, once a child can hold a short back-and-forth conversation, through early elementary school.

How long does a session take?

As long as you want - most people use it for a few minutes at a time, like a single question at dinner.
